Meat Workforce Employer Survey ( View in Français )
The Food Processing Human Resources Council (FPHRC) funded by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC), is undertaking a Labour Market Information Study on Meat Processing, that will for the first time accurately measure the supply of available labour at the regional level. Currently, this is the missing information that government requires to make its various policy decisions around immigration, foreign workers, LMIAs, employment insurance, training programs and more.
The Employer Survey, administered by our Survey Partner IPSOS, is a key part of this project. Your participation will help provide a better understanding of current labour challenges, develop strategies, and inform government policies.
To Participate in the Survey, fill in the form below. You will be emailed a link to complete the survey online and given a number to call if you prefer to complete the survey over the phone.
Any information that you share with us will be held in strict confidence. This information will only be reported in a consolidated format that makes it impossible to identify any individual participant in the survey. If you participate in the survey you will be provided with a report of the findings.
The survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. You can choose to exit and re-enter the survey at your convenience (there is a 1-minute delay after exiting before you can resume). In the survey, we’re going to ask you to provide some information about your workforce. Before you begin, please have with you workforce statistics, wages and benefits information for your organization. This will save you time as you complete the survey.
