The time is now for Canada’s meat and seafood industries to unite, and work collaboratively to clearly demonstrate the critical labour shortages plaguing our sector. We know that many of you have been working on these labour issues for numerous years now with a passion to keep your companies and communities alive with a skilled workforce.

The Government of Canada is also looking to keep our economy and communities thriving and recognizes that some policies and programs like Temporary Foreign Worker Program and Employment Insurance need to be carefully assessed and reviewed, in order for us to become an AgFood powerhouse. Through this comprehensive Labour Market Information Study the following stakeholders have come together to guide this project and make it a success:
